Heritage Open Days is England’s biggest heritage festival. It celebrates our fantastic history, architecture and culture; offering people the chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences.
All of the venues are free to visit during the times shown in the programme thanks to the efforts of volunteers who open them.

Heritage Open Day events will take place between the 10th and 19th September 2027
Although organising the events in Deal and Walmer is not a huge task, we are a very small team and we really need some more help in coordinating it. This could be in the planning of the event or on the day. If you would like to find out more, please contact info@dealheritage-org-uk.stackstaging.com.
Deal and Walmer Heritage Open Days are organised by members of Deal Heritage and the Addelam History Research Group, supported by Deal and Walmer Town Councils.
